It has been a VERY long time since I saw a painting that captured so much emotion that I was moved to stare at it-and kept looking at it as though in a museum. I am not wealthy, I wish I could be a patron!, and right now have two sons in college so "extra" is in the future, but the WISH to own that work of yours is strong.
I think what speaks to me in your work is the combination of emotions SO exquisitely captured. I see the innocence, fear, impish sparkle and inner confusion (pain to a child) all at once. It is breathtaking for me.....and I DON'T frequent art museums:) It makes me want to know this child, to see him grow up and know he is happy and safe. May sound weird, but it touched me very deeply and I am a person who listens to my soul. I believe we see opportunities in life that sometimes are not for us, but perhaps for someone else.
Nice! Brevard Court...one of the only car-free streets in Charlotte! And location of the Sustain Charlotte office!

It's amazing how your eye sees light and color so easily.

Fred’s work is so thoughtful and intuitive. His works produce beauty that the viewer can feel. So happy to own some of his works.
